Rockwell Arena Simulation Tutorial

I’ll be honest, when I first started looking into Rockwell Arena I was not very impressed with the information I found. I know what a simulation is, so I felt OK about trying it out on my own. What I didn’t expect was that after using the arena for a few hours I would need to hire someone to get my simulation done.

The main reason that I did this is because I was not sure if it was going to be right for me. This is a simulator that lets you design your own arena, so I didn’t want to make the same mistakes I would if I were designing an arena myself. So I decided to hire someone to do it for me.

The Rockwell Arena simulation tutorial that I used was pretty good, but there were a few things that I would have changed. In this article I will outline two of the most important points that I noticed that are left out of the tutorial. Hopefully these will help you make the right decision when you are starting to design your own arena.

There is a point that I wish the tutorial had covered with respect to stage lights. The simulation doesn’t talk about them much, but I found that they made a big difference in how I had my arena designed. Stage lights were important to me, but having them in the wrong place could turn an okay simulation into something amazing. I recommend you do the same.

I found that the lights in my simulation were right next to my bench and stairs. This made it really easy for me to set up lighting to control visibility and shadowing on the edges of the stage. I also found that I needed to position the lights much differently when I was working with the video game than with a traditional stage. There are a lot of little differences that go along with the two options, so make sure you are familiar with the difference.

Another thing that I found was left out of the Rockwell Arena simulation tutorial was how I could attach the props to the floor. I think I did this all by myself. If I was able to, I would have hired someone to do it for me. They are a lot easier to work with in the video game, so let me explain.

There are a couple of animations that don’t talk about this, but the props don’t come out of the floor until you press the spacebar, or slide it up with the mouse. It wasn’t possible for me to do this when I was building the simulation, but it is very easy to do in the game. It only takes a little bit of time to get it done, but it is well worth it.

I really liked the section of the Rockwell Arena simulation tutorial that discussed what is called a “distant surface”. This is what you would see in real life. The simulation was lacking a distant surface, but the real world does have many different types of surfaces. This is something you should look at.

Most people do not look at the other parts of the simulation that they can make changes to, but you can add more objects to your arena without making a huge change. If you do not do this, then you could have the most beautiful arena in the world, but it would be very different than yours. The simulation is very detailed, but I am sure you would be very surprised at what you can do to your simulation without doing something drastic.

One of the features that I did not find in the Rockwell Arena simulation tutorial was something that let me add buildings and props to my arena that I didn’t already have. If you buy the larger version of the software, then you can add these props to your simulation and use them in the game. I am sure you will enjoy adding these as well.

The last thing I want to mention is that the simulation tutorial didn’t talk about creating a budget for the project. You want to include a budget for every aspect of the project including the cost of materials, labor, time, and the cost of electricity. After you spend a couple of days designing and playing the game, you may decide that the cost is too high and you will add a lower budget for some materials.
